	Yes, No, Flick Fest (November 3, 2018) This was a special year for us at the Windsor International Film Festival's 48 Hour Flick Fest Competition. Our newest entry "Yes, No, Maybe So" marks our 10th straight year participating. Unfortunately we didn't take home any prizes, but we had a lot of fun anyway. Check it out!
	A Touch of Turmoil (June 2, 2018) Guess what? We've got a new short to share. This one is called "Turmoil" and it's the second part of the Effigy trilogy. Don't know what that is? Well, maybe you should catch up by watching the first Effigy film. Once you've got that out of the way, enjoy the sequel! And don't worry, it'll all make sense... eventually.
	That Time of Year (November 16, 2017) Participating in the Windsor International Film Festival’s annual 48 hour film competition has become a tradition here at Uncanny Visions and this year was no exception. Our entry, “Deman”, was nominated for a number of categories including “best director” and “best story”. We didn’t win any awards as prestigious as those, but did manage to snag “best use of prop”. Not too shabby.
	The End of an Era (September 19, 2017) Today, we bring you the final episode of the Creeps. It’s sad, we know, but changes behind the scenes at Uncanny Visions have made it impossible to continue the show in its current form… at least for now. If we see an opportunity to bring Colin and Arty back in some capacity down the road, we promise we’ll jump on it. In the meantime, we think this is a fantastic episode to go out with, and hope you have as much fun watching it as we did making it. In other news, we’ve finally created an official Uncanny Visions Facebook page. Give it a like to stay up to date on all the latest news and view exclusive behind the scenes content. In addition to the Facebook page, we’re happy to announce that we’ve secured a new domain name. http://uncanny-visions.com is set to expire at the end of the month, replaced by the sleeker, easier to remember http://uncannyvisions.com …it’s the same thing, but without the dash. Cool, right? One last thing: the Windsor International Film Festival’s 48 Hour Flick Fest is right around the corner. Swing by sometime early November to see our latest entry!
	Write What You Know (May 28, 2017) With the winter behind us, we're back to work on brand new videos. First out of the gate in 2017 is a new episode of the Creeps! This one plays out as a standard Creeps story while also offering a few subtle and not so subtle jabs at the show itself. Is it self-indulgent to be so self-referential? Maybe, but after 19 episodes, we're allowed to have a little fun.
	Awards Season (November 17, 2016) Those who follow our site will already know this, but every year the Uncanny Visions crew participates in the Windsor International Film Festival’s 48 Hour Flick Fest Competition. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but it’s exactly what it sounds like: we’re given two days to complete a 5 minute short and are later judged based on quality and adherence to specific predetermined guidelines. Usually we do pretty well, but this year we apparently knocked it out of the park and snagged ourselves four awards. Please Stand By is the winner of Best Sound, Best Editing, Best Directing, and Best Picture. Way to go team! For those who couldn’t make it to the screening, the film is now available online. Enjoy!
	The Creeping Terror (October 31, 2016) First and foremost, happy Halloween! It’s the spookiest time of the year and also the best! To celebrate we have a brand new episode of the Creeps for all you ghoulish boys and girls. It’s a Halloween themed special and trust us when we say it’s a howling good time! While you’re here, why not stick around and check out some of our other horrifying productions? Sweet Scarlett, Camera 87, and A Play Date with the Devil are all excellent choices for a bone chilling indie horror marathon.
	The Creeps bounce back (June 19, 2016) The big news today is that we're releasing an all new episode of the Creeps. Not only is it one of the funniest we've ever done, but it's also the longest. Check it out! We'd also like to take this opportunity to remind fans of the Creeps web series to join the official fan club on Facebook @thecreepswebseries. As a member, you'll be kept up to date with all the latest Creeps news, learn interesting trivia about the series, and most important of all, you'll enjoy fan club exlusive content. So what are you waiting for? Last but not least, you might've notice a new tab at the top of this page. The all-new Media section contains links to Uncanny Visions related content created by outside sources. This includes interviews, reviews, and even a Turkish "Let's Watch" for Camera 87.
	Another year, another Flick Fest (February 12, 2016) It’s been a while since the site was updated, but those subscribed to our Youtube channel and those who belong to the Official Creeps Fan Club on Facebook know that we've been as busy as ever. The big news is that we have a brand new short film. This is our entry into the 2015 Windsor Internal Film Festival 48 Hour Flick Fest. We took home “Best Sound” and couldn't be happier with the end result. Check it out! Is your need for strange entertainment quenched? No? Don't worry, we have a second helping of weirdness for you today with another all new episode of the Creeps. This one is wild! But don't take my word for it… see for yourself.
	The Creeps Remastered (May 30, 2015) Believe it or not, Youtube didn’t always have an HD option for video. So, when we shot the original Creeps episodes, we edited in HD then shrunk them down for online streaming. Sucks right? Well it’s time to rejoice! We’ve spent the last few months re-editing each and every episode. We’ve brightened dark scenes, trimmed the fat, and in the case of "The Creeps Exposed", recut the entire episode using alternate footage. So what are you waiting for? 	A Touching Tragedy (November 20, 2014) Another year, another Windsor International Film Festival 48 Hour Flick Fest competition (a mouthful I know). Per usual, Uncanny Visions participated, this time snagging the award for “best editing”… not too shabby, eh? This win is especially impressive given the fact that we were required to make a “romance”. Needless to say, we weren't playing to our strengths, but thanks to a dedicated cast and crew, we came up with something pretty good. Check out Ephemeral.
	A Super Spooky Update (October 30, 2014) Happy Halloween from Uncanny Visions! We have two special treats for you this month. First up is the worldwide release of our newest horror short: Sweet Scarlett. The film, a slasher retelling of Little Red Riding Hood was produced autumn 2013 and completed by early 2014. It was sent to a couple of noteworthy festivals around the country, but ultimately, failed to find a screen. These things happen. That said, we recently premiered the film locally to an extremely excited crowd where it was met with resounding ovation. Now we’re anxious to finally share the project with the world. It's Uncanny Vision's best production yet, and we're sure you'll love it! In addition to Sweet Scarlett, we've also uploaded an all new episode of the Creeps!
	A Creepy Comeback (September 17, 2014) It's been a couple of years since The Creeps have graced computer monitors, but as with all good ideas, we just couldn't let it die without milking it for everything it's worth. So with that, we proudly present the newest entry in the Creeps saga: The Creeps Reformed! As a side note, future episodes will not be released according to any specific schedule. Also, we've created a new page for “promotional videos”. This section won't be of much interest for casual viewers, but it's handy for showing prospective clients the kind of work we can do. 	The sweetest update (January 29, 2014) We're happy to announce that our latest short film, Sweet Scarlett, is complete. Yep, you heard that right - shot, edited, and ready for screening! The exact release plan is unclear at this time, but for now, we can share a brief synopsis as well as a thirty second teaser. Enjoy! Sweet Scarlett is a modern retelling of Little Red Riding Hood done in the style of a slasher film.
	Stealing is bad (November 5, 2013) Shady characters investigate an abandoned building hoping to find valuable antiques. That's the setup for our entry into this year's 48 Hour Flick Fest entry. I'd say more, but that'd spoil the fun! It's only four minutes so check it out. You're in for a ghoulish surprise! We won “best use of line” ...not the most prestigious honor, but it's better than nothing right?!
	Halloween horrors from out of this world (October 23, 2013) Happy Halloween! Well, it's not quite here yet, but we couldn't wait to unleash our new horror short! Camera 87 is filmed in the “found footage” style popularized by films such as Paranormal Activity and the Blair Witch Project. It was shot earlier this year and stars Amy Nazarewich and Justin Tessier. The film is best viewed in HD with the lights turned out. We had a great time making this and hope it scares you real good!
	Weird and a little scary (August 27, 2013) Uncanny Visions has joined the DSLR revolution! Of course shooting on our newly acquired Canon Rebel T4I and recording audio on a Zoom H4N is totally different than our old way of doing things, so we figured we'd work on a short test project before delving into anything too complex. The result is "The Effigy". To be completely honest, we don't really know what it's about, but it's certainly quirky. Give it a watch, won't you? Also, we'd like to announce that we have a 25 minute horror short in the works. It's going to be a found footage movie with a twist! It's shot and edited, pending release. In the meantime, here's a still to whet your appetite.
	As close as it gets (March 31, 2013) Our previous feature film: Closer Apart is now on YouTube in full HD. We’re all very proud of this production and are extremely excited to finally be able to share it with our online audience! So what are you waiting for?
	It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s...a matador? (January 3, 2013) Well, well, well, after months of work, we've finally completed Monstador: the Monster Matador. This is a pilot for a potential series. It's a homage to classic tokusatsu such as Ultraman and Kamen Rider, but I think anyone with a fondness for lasers and giant lobster monsters should enjoy it. Anyway, be sure to comment on the video and share it with all your friends. If we get enough positive feedback, we'll make another episode! More updates coming soon!
